The serenity of Glenwood Cemetery will continue to be preserved when you make a contribution to help maintain the splendor of the cemetery and it’s grounds. Your donation will be used to get our landscaping, grounds, gardens and monuments back to the aesthetic level you and your family deserve.
Glenwood holds a great history in Lockport and is the final resting place of many, including several notable people who’s contributions have left an indelible mark on the lives and surroundings of almost all of us living in the area.
Making the decision to give to the cemetery is simple- you want your loved ones to have a tranquil and beautiful resting place that is an everlasting tribute.
All contributions are governed by the Board of Trustees and put to the betterment of Glenwood Cemetery.

Shelley Richards, author of two volumes on neighboring St. Patrick's Cemetery, is now writing a book that features historic Glenwood Cemetery.
She is requesting articles from family and friends about cemetery residents to be included in the book. Up to 2 photos can be submitted with each story, which can be no longer than 400 words. Each story can focus on a single person, or preferably, a couple. She reserves the right to edit stories to fit the format of the book. Also If people have any historical photos they would like to submit, they can be included (without a story) and they will be given photo credit in the photo section of the book.
Among chapters to be included are the stories, cemetery history, special places in the cemetery, as well as maps of the various sections. There will also be color photos of some of the outstanding monuments and mausoleums located throughout the cemetery.
As with her previous St. Patrick’s Cemetery Volumes I and II, she will donate her portion of the proceeds from book sales to the Glenwood Cemetery Association to assist them with their current financial challenges. She will be assisted by Lockport resident Mary Ann Cutter.
Volume 1 is completed and can be purchased here - https://niagara-art-trail.square.site/product/glenwood-cemetery-lockport-ny-volume-i/70?cs=true
